Leong Yien Hung
Executive Chairman & Managing Director
Mr. Leong brings over 15 years of experience in Malaysia’s financial industry, specializing in comprehensive financial services and alternative investments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Coventry University, UK, and serves on the Investment Committees of Proven Venture Capital.
Yap Kok Wei
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr. Yap has extensive experience in the investment sector, having served over a decade as Portfolio Manager (Asia Pacific) at Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management in Hong Kong. He also worked as a Senior Analyst (ASEAN) at Huatai-Pinebridge Fund Management in Shanghai. Currently, he is the Chief Investment Officer at Proven Venture Capital PLT.
Chung Eng Lam
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr. Chung graduated with a Certificate in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering from Tunku Abdul Rahman College. He began his career in 1986 and has over 38 years of experience in the medical equipment industry. He co-founded Maymedic Technology Sdn Bhd and currently serves as its Managing Director, overseeing daily operations and specializing in disinfection and sterilization equipment.
Ler Pei Fen
Independent Non-Executive Director
Ms. Ler has over a decade of experience in the financial industry. She served as a Remisier at RHB Investment Bank Bhd and as a Senior Agent at Hong Leong Assurance Bhd. In 2018, she became a Director at Finicon Venture Holdings Sdn Bhd, playing a vital role in the company’s operations and growth initiatives.
Lim Kok Kiong
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr. Lim is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, accounting, and auditing. He began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick and has held key leadership positions in various industries, including water treatment, industrial products, and retail.
Tan Yiing Fung
Independent Non-Executive Director
Ms. Tan Yiing Fung is a qualified lawyer with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of London. She began her legal career in 2012 and has since accumulated extensive experience in corporate law and governance. Appointed to MGRC’s Board in February 2025, she also serves as a member of the Audit Committee, contributing her legal expertise to the company’s strategic oversight.
